Watching that site plus a few rival shops is usually the best setup. ## What rival Etsy shops change Prices and sale badges move on listings. New listings appear and old ones retire. Shipping and discount callouts show up on the shop home or announcement. Off-Etsy brand sites with fuller catalogs are often where bigger moves happen. ## What stood out 1. Etsy turned away every automated visit on October 20, 2026. All five Etsy shop pages hit a robot check. The brand sites all opened normally. Watching Etsy prices takes either a person checking by hand or a tool that is allowed through. 2. The one Etsy price we could see was cheaper than the brand site. Mignon & Mignon’s pet portrait necklace was $19.50 on its Etsy-run storefront, marked down 30% from $27.86. The same necklace starts at $21.50 on its own site, with no sale. Shipping flips that, though: $4.99 on the Etsy side, free over $50 on the brand site. 3. Free shipping starts at very different points. The Painted Press offers it from $35, Mignon & Mignon from $50 and Sami Jewels from $75. Caitlyn Minimalist and Capucinne ship free on every order. 4. Each shop discounts in its own way. Caitlyn runs a sitewide sale: 25% off the hero necklace, with up to 40% off in the banner. Sami runs a ring bundle deal: buy two and save 30%, up to 50% for four. Mignon & Mignon and Sami both offer sign-up codes for a first order: 10% and 20%. 5. Sami Jewels has a welcome page on its own site just for Etsy shoppers. Add rival shop URLs and key listing URLs. 3. Put comparable listings on the price list. 4. Track gift searches you sell into, for example handmade or personalized modifiers you can win. 5.
